Information used to provide Stampendy

Depending on how you use the service, records may include account and contact information, a private mobile number, postcode or location, business information, loyalty and stamp activity, reward records, follows and favourites, messages, consent and marketing preferences, and security or operational logs. Birthday information may be used where a birthday reward feature applies.

Why information is used

Information supports account access, local discovery, loyalty and reward administration, messages, business management, support, fraud prevention and service security. Optional marketing choices are handled through the applicable permission and preference settings.

What businesses can see

Participating businesses receive information needed for their authorised Stampendy activities, such as relevant loyalty and reward records or messages sent to them. Customers’ raw mobile numbers are private and are not disclosed to normal business users. Following or favouriting a business should not be taken as permission for unrestricted marketing.

Service providers and sharing

Stampendy uses Google Firebase services for application infrastructure, including authentication, data storage and server functions. This public website uses Firebase Hosting. Information may be processed by service providers supporting these services and disclosed where required by law. Public business profiles and public Feed posts are visible to their intended audience; private messages are not public Feed posts.

Storage and retention

Information is kept as needed for the purposes described here, subject to applicable operational and legal requirements. Contact us for information about retention or deletion of a particular record. Removing an account does not necessarily remove records that must be retained for a legitimate legal reason.

Your rights and choices

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to processing and request portability. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You can raise concerns with us and may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

This website has no account login, contact form, advertising trackers or optional analytics added by Stampendy. Following an email link opens your email service. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site.
